Flagger

8:30AM

Flagger training provides the knowledge and skills to safely manage traffic in work zones and other situations requiring temporary traffic control (TTC). This includes explanations of the state and federal codes that govern the work zone processes and procedures, how the work zones are set up and operate, equipment to be used, and the flagger’s responsibilities within the work zone. This training aims to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to protect both the workers and the public by minimizing risks and ensuring smooth traffic flow. This certification is also valid in Oregon, Idaho, and Montana (valid for 3 years).

Age: 18+ and Valid government-issued photo I.D. card

Bilingual Medical Terminology

Bilingual Medical Terminology (BMT) teaches fluent English and Spanish individuals the specific vocabulary and concepts used in healthcare settings. It provides the foundation in medical terminology, focusing on word building, suffixes, prefixes, and abbreviations used in the medical field. Aiming to improve communication with patients, particularly those who are not proficient in English. The course covers topics like medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient interaction. This course empowers individuals to expand their career opportunities and enhance patient care and outcomes. Requirement:  Fluent English & Spanish (being able to communicate effectively in both languages, including understanding, speaking, reading, and writing, without significant difficulty or hesitation)

Soccer Season

Join us for a Soccer Season for kids in Kindergarten through 6th grade. It’s a fun way to learn the game, build skills, and make new friends! Begins March 23rd and ends on June 5th with games every Friday.
