Out-of-School Time offers a range of educational and recreational activities for youth, which aim to enhance learning opportunities and provide a safe and supportive environment for the youth.
OIC’s Youth Leadership Development program empowers young people to build confidence, communication skills, and a sense of responsibility. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and team-based projects, participants strengthen their communication, public speaking, and decision-making abilities. Youth also take part in civic engagement activities, from community service and voter registration efforts to participating in Legislative Youth Day at the Capitol. By combining leadership training with real-world advocacy, the program empowers young people to lead with purpose, whether in the classroom, the community, or their future careers.
