The Secondary Education helps students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and prepare to earn their GED. The program includes both Pre-GED and GED classes designed to meet students where they are. Pre-GED focuses on improving reading, writing, and math skills essential for GED success and prepare students for the entrance exam into the GED program. GED classes provide instruction in all four GED subjects: Reading Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science. Students also receive personalized tutoring and support to help them successfully complete their GED exams.

*If you’ve previously scored 145 or higher on your GED Ready tests for RLA and Math, or if you’re unsure, please complete our Secondary Education Interest Form. A staff member will contact you to help determine your next steps.*

CDL Training Program

Our training provides a comprehensive understanding of commercial vehicle operation, ensuring drivers are equipped with the skills and knowledge to operate safely and efficiently. Training includes instruction on vehicle inspection, maneuvering techniques, defensive driving, and compliance with DOT regulations. Participants will also learn the proper handling, trip planning, and accident prevention strategies. The program is designed to prepare drivers for the CDL exam while prioritizing safety and responsible driving practices.

It provides the foundation in medical terminology, focusing on word building, suffixes, prefixes, and abbreviations used in the medical field. Aiming to improve communication with patients, particularly those who are not proficient in English. The course covers topics like medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and patient interaction. This course empowers individuals to expand their career opportunities and enhance patient care and outcomes. Requirement:  Fluent English & Spanish (being able to communicate effectively in both languages, including understanding, speaking, reading, and writing, without significant difficulty or hesitation)

Basketball Season

Join us for a 13-week coed Basketball Season for kids in Kindergarten through 8th grade. It’s a fun way to learn the game, build skills, and make new friends! Practice begins December 8th, with games held every Saturday.
