41st Annual MLK Jr. Celebration

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, all our offices will be closed. As we pause to honor Dr. King’s life, legacy, and vision, we invite you to join us in celebrating through acts of unity, service, and community.
Starting with a Peace Walk & Celebration. Peace Walk begins at 12:00 PM, Corner of 5th Avenue & MLK Boulevard. Followed by a Celebration at the Yakima Convention Center, featuring a keynote speaker, Tyler Monk, founder of The Underdog Mentality.
Other events happening:
- Toppenish – 16th Annual MLK Jr. Peace March 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM O’Reilly’s Parking Lot → Toppenish Middle School
- Moses Lake – Annual MLK Jr. Peace March & Program 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM Surf & Slide Water Park Parking Lot → Moses Lake Civic Center Auditorium. Program begins at 5:30 PM
