Today, we celebrate Henry Beauchamp Day (November 9), honoring the legacy of OIC of Washington’s founder, Henry Beauchamp Jr., a visionary community leader, advocate, and the first African American mayor of Yakima. His lifelong dedication to equality, opportunity, and community service continues to inspire us all.

At OIC of Washington and the Henry Beauchamp Community Center, we proudly carry forward his mission, providing programs and services that uplift and empower, families, youth and seniors, and strengthen the heart of our community.
