Through our Civic Engagement and Advocacy, it aims to empower individuals by encouraging them to actively engage in their communities and become advocates for positive change. By providing the necessary tools, resources, and support, we enable individuals to take an active role in shaping their communities and making a difference.

How to get involved

  • Lead a community service event in partnership with OIC youth participants
  • Volunteer at one of our community events
  • Register to Vote
  • Engage with Legislators at our Annual Youth Legislative Day

Connect with our Civic Engagement and Advocacy Coordinator, Maryrose Gonzalez, at m.go@oicofwa.org to find other ways to get involved civically in your community.
